You didn't lose yourself... You were in the wrong soil.
You are already enough.
Learning to connect your inner self with your outer self is a beautiful journey that will give you words you've felt but have never said aloud to yourself or others.
Welcome to a space for women confidently returning to themselves.
Confidence was never something you needed to build.
The Confident Woman Project exists to give women the language, the evidence, and the tools to understand what happened to their nervous system inside the relationships and cultures that cost them their sense of self — so they can stop performing confidence and begin returning to it.

This workbook is a compassionate, trauma-informed guide for anyone who has ever felt “too much,” “not enough,” or confused by their own emotional responses after relational trauma.
What I appreciated most is that the author does not approach emotional dysregulation as a character flaw or personal weakness. Instead, the workbook clearly explains how the nervous system responds to trauma, why those responses make sense, and how healing begins when we stop shaming ourselves for surviving.
The structure is clear, thoughtful, and accessible. The chapters move naturally from understanding the nervous system, to recognizing dysregulation in daily life, to learning practical tools for returning to regulation. I especially appreciated the inclusion of metacognition, reflection exercises, body-based strategies, self-compassion, and boundaries.
The tone of the workbook is both educational and validating. It is based in science without being clinical or overwhelming, and it offers hope without minimizing the pain people may be carrying. The exercises invite honest reflection while still feeling safe and manageable.
This is a workbook I would recommend to someone beginning to understand the impact of trauma on their emotional life, as well as to anyone who wants practical language and tools for healing. It is not about “fixing” what is wrong with you. It is about understanding what happened to you, learning how your body tried to protect you, and finding your way back to steadiness,
self-trust, and compassion; this is a meaningful, useful, and deeply validating resource.

This workbook has been incredibly helpful in gently working through trauma and emotions I had suppressed for many years.
The exercises are thoughtful, approachable, and gave me practical tools to better understand and regulate my emotions. I've gained so much self-awareness and healing from working through it.
Highly recommend!
